Home Tour: Anna Spiro

I love Anna Spiro and I’ve been an admirer of her work for quite a while now. Among other projects (including a book), she is the very clever decorator behind Halcyon House, which I am dying to visit (hopefully this year at some point!). The way she incorporates colour, texture and pattern to create beauty in every room is astonishing. I was just going through the projects she has listed on her website and I could literally pin every single photo because I am obsessed! Hashtag serious goals.

One of my favourite things to do is to read and view home tours on blogs. I could spend hours pouring through image after image. Mackenzie features home tours on her blog quite often and I am always a fan of the homes she delivers. When I saw Anna Spiro’s house come up on Country Style, I knew I had to feature it here on Bonjour Olive.

Apologies to the monochrome lovers and minimalists out there; you may wish to sit this one out ūüėČ

I originally saw the photos on Country Style and Homelife but all the above images come from Black & Spiro.

Do you love the home tour as much as I do? Make sure you check out her other projects here! (I die.)

A Love Affair with Cushions and Flowers

Don’t you just love Sundays? Seriously, it’s the best day of the week.¬†

Now that Daylight Saving has ended, it’s time for me to redress¬†my bed with some new¬†winter-inspired cushions. Last year, I went on a cushion shopping spree and bought one too many Keren Brown cushions. I’ve had a few on my bed since, and packed the rest away, but now it’s time to swap them over. Add freshly picked pink roses from the garden, and we’re good to go.¬†

Below, for your benefit, I’ve included¬†three of my favourite cushion/flower combos.

Photos: one / two / three

My photography obviously isn’t as good as these professional shots, but nevertheless, I am still loving my new soft pink cushions!

Happy Sunday!
