We had family friends stay this past weekend and because my room is at the back of the house, where it’s quiet (read: away from William), it also doubles as a guest room. Whilst it was clean and bright, I took the opportunity to take a few photos of my room. To tell you the truth, it’s always this clean, I just thought you might like a stickybeak. There’s nothing I love more than a good
croissant stickybeak; looking into other people’s houses, what they wear, their everyday lives. It’s fascinating. As I still live at home with mum (fun times), I’ve had to make the furniture that she bought match and complement my style of decorating.
Anyway, enjoy this little stickybeak…
When we turn 21, we get to choose a piece of furniture as our present from mum.
I chose this gorgeous pink reading chair from a local store in Armidale.
I got this mirror for Christmas last year from mum.
It’s from a gift store in town, that has since closed down.
My favourites: a bit of Pippa Middleton, Paris, Disney and Alexa Chung.
Something you will notice everywhere in my room: books. I love them!
I went to a charity book fair today and got a few more to add to my collection.
Have a lovely week everyone. We’re just about to make burritos for dinner and watch The Proposal (after yesterday’s post)!
Images are all my own.
