Thank goodness the week is over and it’s finally the weekend. Whoah, what a massive week! It was UNE’s Open Day today, which meant all hands were on deck at work. Zoe and I were presenting all day, so currently I barely have a voice and am sick of talking. To celebrate the success that Open Day was though, the team are going out to dinner tonight to eat the best pizzas in town, and no doubt, drink copious amounts of champagne.
Tomorrow will start off with William’s first soccer game. It will be so cute. Can you imagine 7 six-year-olds running around trying to kick the ball? Our Saturday morning ritual of corn fritters at Prue & Olive will follow.
It seems champagne will be a common occurrence on the weekend, as on Sunday morning, I will be hosting a champagne brunch for some uni and work friends. Almond croissants, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and mimosas sound pretty good to me.
Whatever you’re doing this weekend, I hope it is fabulous.
